Q & A

For many parents the idea of consulting a herbalist to care for the health of their beloved child raises many questions.

Q: How can I be sure the practitioner is trained to a high standard to ensure safety for my child?

A: Our Medical Herbalist Cath Minter has been trained in Australia to a high standard and complies with all governmental regulations for registration as a qualified Medical Herbalist with the Australian Traditional Medicine Society and The National Herbalists Association of Australia

Q: Will the care be effective?

A:Herbalists rely on two sources for evidence to validate their use of herbs for different conditions - scientific and traditional.

A respectable amount of clinical research to date suggests that holistic medicine is a safe and effective way to manage children's ailments and ongoing research continues to build on this type of evidence.

Clinical evidence and traditional knowledge also strongly supports the use of herbal and nutritional medicine in the care of children.
